If travelling to us from the direction of Birmingham or London on the M40, or via Coventry on the A46, we encourage all visitors to arrive via the following route in order to minimise disruption to the local community:

• If travelling on the M40 in either direction, exit at junction 15.
• If travelling from the direction of Coventry on the A46, keep left where the road forks (just after the BP garage), following signs for the South/Banbury/Cirencester/Warwick.
• At Longbridge Island, the large roundabout where the M40 and A46 interchange, get in the lane signposted for Cirencester/A429.
• Follow the A429, continuing to follow signs for Cirencester. You’ll pass through five roundabouts in the town of Wellesbourne.
• After around eight and a half miles and 15 minutes, you’ll reach a roundabout signed for Banbury (first exit), Cirencester (second exit) and Stratford (third exit). Take the third exit for Stratford/A422. After around half a mile, The Hill will be on your left.

If travelling from the direction of London, sat navs and navigation apps may direct you to exit the M40 at junction 11 via Banbury or junction 12 via Gaydon. We encourage you to disregard this and continue north to junction 15, especially during peak travel hours, as these routes can become congested.

If travelling on the above route on a Saturday or Bank Holiday Monday, allow a little extra time as traffic can build up in the town of Wellesbourne as a result of their large outdoor market.

If travelling to us from the west, there are fewer clearly defined routes, but in order to minimise congestion and disruption the local area, we strongly advise you to find a route that avoids passing through Stratford-upon-Avon.
