We couldn’t be more thankful for the incredible response we’ve had following our reopen last week. It’s been so amazing to see so many of you enjoying The Yard, and the feeling that we’re making a step towards normality has been very welcome indeed. The ticketed time slots have been working well and they help ensure that our team and our site can continue to deliver the food, drink, service and experience to the high standard that we strive for.
As a business, we’ve always wanted people to enjoy C&M in the evenings just as much as during the day. Previously, Saturday and Sunday evenings were much quieter than during the daytime, and our decision to remove the need for tickets for the evenings was based on that.
However, now that we have some amazing food trucks that will be joining us in the Yard, the vibes, the lights, the outside seating areas, the heated tipis, it’s nicer to spend an evening at C&M than it ever has been before. It’s so humbling that so many people want to visit us, but it puts the site, the staff, our local community and the business as a whole under so much pressure.
It isn’t good for us, and it isn’t good for our wonderfully loyal customers who travel a significant distance to be with us, to be told upon arriving that the car park is already full. The last thing that we want to be doing is having to tell people that there is simply no space for them to enter.
So, after many hours of debate we’re launching the ‘Sundowner Sessions’ in the Yard. Evening tickets are now available for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7pm-10pm.
We will continue to review numbers and ensure our site is safe and sound for our customers and our community alike.

Hope that all makes sense and catch you in the yard soon.
